  • What is Sensation Apartments?
    A new concept of accommodation, based on the daily rental of private, serviced apartments, located in buildings specifically designed for this purpose. Our apartments are fully equipped to make you feel right at home, living in our city just like a local, with all the help and suggestions from our friendly staff.

    The buildings are located in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood, in the Eixample district. Sensation Sagrada Familia is just a few steps from the world-famous monument, while Sensation Authentic Gracia is a mere 5-minute walk, and also well placed to visit the incredible Hospital San Pau.

    Our buildings are fully equipped (see description of services on our own page), with amenities such as a Finnish sauna, themed terraces, a small pool and a solarium area on the roof Sagrada Familia, as well as a chill-out area and unbeatable views of the Sagrada Familia basilica (in the Sagrada Familia building) You can also enjoy a fully equipped gym, self-service laundry and private parking in the same building (with additional charge, see services info). Our staff are also on hand to help you with any queries or additional services you might require, both at the reception and through dedicated messaging options.

  • Does the reception work 24 hours?
    No. The Reception is open every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Calle Rosselló 380. For any problem outside office hours, there is an emergency number that can be called: +34 672 664 672.
  • If we arrive after 10pm, how can we check-in?
    It is necessary to contact the Reception by WhatsApp (+34 667 588 321) or by email (info@sensation-apartments.com) where they will inform you of the procedure. There is no additional cost for late check-ins arranged in advance.
  • What is the address of the Apartments?
    - Sensation Sagrada Família is located at Carrer del Rosselló 380.
    - Sensation Authentic Gracia is located at Travessera de Gracia 343.

    The reception of both apartment buildings is located at Calle Rosselló 380, and it is necessary to go there to complete the registration.
  • From what time can check-in be done?
    Check-in is from 15h onwards, however if you arrive before this time we have some limited luggage storage capacity. Otherwise you can also use our dedicated luggage transfer partners, Luggit.
  • And the check-out?
    Check-out must be done before 11am. If you need to leave later, it can be arranged the same day of departure from 9am. The Reception team will inform you of the prices and the possibility.
  • Do you have cots?
    Yes, we can prepare one for you for free. We also have baby baths and high chairs. Please let us know what you need in advance so that we can prepare it in the apartment for you.
  • Is it possible to add an extra bed?
    The apartments have a double sofa-bed, but if it is already being used, it is not possible to add any extra bed due to the legal maximum occupancy of the apartments.
  • Can we book the airport transfer service with you?
    You can book a private transfer with our recommended partner Welcome Pickups. An English-speaking driver will pick you up from the arrivals area and take you directly to the apartments. Pay in advance and avoid any hidden costs.
  • Can we store our luggage with you on the day of check-in?
    Yes, we have some limited luggage storage capacity. Otherwise, you can use the services of our partner LUGGit. They pick up your luggage anywhere and can take it to any final destination you need, at a time that suits you best. Follow your luggage in real time through your application and enjoy your first hours in Barcelona without luggage.
  • Do I have to pay any municipal tax?
    Yes, all tourist accommodation in Catalonia must collect the Tourist Tax at the time of entry. In our apartments it is €6.05 per person and night. Only applies to guests over 16 years of age and for a maximum of 7 nights. The tax is regulated by the Barcelona City Council and Catalan Parliament, and in the evento of any modification or change, we will do our best to inform you of this prior to your arrival. The next update of the amount is expected in early 2025.
  • Can you pay in cash?
    Yes, we accept cash payments. We cannot accept foreign currency, all cash payments must be made in Euros.
  • Is it necessary to leave a deposit upon arrival?
    Yes, at the time of check-in we will block a security deposit on a credit card. This will be €300 or €600 depending on the type of apartment. It will be unlocked within a maximum period of 24-48 hours after departure.
  • Can the deposit be left in cash?
    No, cash deposits are not accepted.
  • Do you have parking?
    We have a parking service for all our clients, but the car park is located at Carrer Rosselló 380. Reservations are not accepted and it is subject to availability upon arrival. The price is €20/night, for web reservations it is 15€/night.
  • What if our reservation is at Sensation Authentic Gràcia?
    You can also use our car park at Carrer Rosselló 380, but if you prefer, there is a covered public car park just 100 meters away called MX Aparcaments.
  • Do the apartments have a washing machine?
    Some of the larger Sensation Sagrada Familia apartments have laundry facilities inside, and there is also a free 24-hour laundry room on the 5th floor.

    All Sensation Authentic Gracia apartments have their own washing machine.
  • What kind of coffee maker is in the apartments?
    All our apartments have a Nespresso coffee machine. If you need to buy coffee, we sell Nespresso capsules at the reception. A package of 10u costs €5.
  • Are there kitchen products in the apartment?
    Yes, in the apartment you will find the following: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, dishwashing liquid and tablets, paper towels and tea towels.
  • What are the advantages of booking through your website?
    - The best price available
    - Priority to have an apartment with views (subject to availability)
    - Complimentary welcome pack
    - Priority early check-in and late check-out, whenever availability allows.
  • When is the small pool on the roof open?
    The pool on the terrace is open all year, from 09:00 to 22:00, but it is not heated.
  • Do you have a charging point for electric cars?
    Currently we do not have an electric charging point in the parking lot.
  • How do I cancel or modify my reservation?
    If you made the reservation through the website, you can edit your reservation using the "My reservation" tab in the upper right corner.

    If you have booked through a third party please contact them directly as we will not be able to amend your booking for you.

    If you have booked directly with us via email or phone, please contact us directly.
  • Is there breakfast service?
    We do not have breakfast service. Our apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, and we can also recommend some nearby bakeries and cafes.
  • Is there a bar or restaurant on the terrace?
    No, there is no bar or restaurant on the terrace. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink, but are reminded to collect it later and that glass may not be used near the pool.
  • Are sheets and towels included?
    Yes, the apartments are prepared with the correct amount of bed linen and towels according to the number of people listed in the reservation.
  • Is it possible to use the gym and sauna?
    The gym and sauna are available to guests of Sensation Sagrada Familia. These services are exclusively for guests over 16 years of age and must be reserved in advance at the reception. Your apartment will have private use of the facilities during the reserved time.
  • Is the apartment cleaned daily?
    No, only for stays of 5 nights or more at Sensation Sagrada Familia and stays of 7 nights or more at Sensation Authentic Gracia, some free cleanings are included.
  • Is it possible to pay for an additional cleaning of my apartment?
    Yes. Check at reception for rates and availability.
  • Is it possible to book restaurants, experiences and taxis?
    Yes. Please speak to us at the Reception, and we will be happy to help you with anything you need to organize. We can also print tickets or tickets if you need.
  • Do children pay?
    Children under 3 years old can stay for free as long as they do not use a bed.
  • Is a plug adapter needed?
    Our apartments are equipped with European plugs. We recommend that you bring your own adapter, but if you need one you can borrow one from reception.
  • What means of public transport are near the apartments?
    Just 150 meters from our Sensation Sagrada Familia is the Sagrada Familia metro station (suburban train), line 5 (blue) and connected line 2 (purple), from where you can connect to any point in the city.

    In the Sensation Authentic Gracia building you also have several options to move around the city, metro lines at a distance of about 500 m. (4-yellow line and 5-blue line). There are several urban and tourist bus lines in the surroundings, as well as taxi and bicycle services (ask at our Reception).
  • Is Barcelona a safe city?
    Barcelona is a welcoming and multicultural city. In general, it is a very safe city, especially in the busiest times of the year, however, it is advisable to take care of your belongings at all times to avoid careless theft, advice that we extend to all travelers and to all places, not only To Barcelona.
