With the lighting of the lights on November 23, Christmas in Barcelona was officially inaugurated. All the Christmas markets have already opened and the city already breathes the magic and excitement so characteristic of this time of year.


The Christmas markets and fairs are endearing and it is quite an experience to visit them.   1. Santa Llúcia Fair


You will find it right in front of the Barcelona Cathedral. It is the oldest, the one that has always existed, and in it you will find all kinds of figures and the most traditional accessories for the manger. In addition, they organize activities and shows for the whole family.

  1. Nadal Fair Sagrada Familia


It is located under the façade of the Passion of the Sagrada Familia, which faces Sardenya Street. This fair is like an extension of the Santa Llúcia Fair, in fact, it was proposed as such when they realized that the Cathedral Square was becoming too small and could no longer accommodate more fairgrounders despite the demand, which is why A new space was sought to expand it and what better than in front of the jewel of the city? The newest fair in the city is held at the Moll de la Fusta in Port Vell. It has an ice rink, attractions, the most innovative activities, light shows and a gastronomic market.
