1. What is Sensation Apartments/Who are we?
It is a new concept of accommodation, based on the daily rental of exclusive apartments located in buildings designed for this type of accommodation. Our apartments are fully equipped to make you feel right at home, living in our city like another local, with the help of our friendly staff.
The buildings are located in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood, in the district of Eixample, with one being located mere metres from the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and the other, a short distance away and also close to the monumental modernist complex of the Hospital de Sant Pau.
All of our apartments come fully equipped with everything that you could need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will also have the opportunity to use and enjoy different exclusive services (please see the description of our facilities on the website), such as a Finnish sauna, themed terraces, one with a small pool and / or solarium area on the roof of the building and the other with a chill out area and unbeatable views of the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. You can also make use of our fitness area, self-service laundry and private parking in the same building (additional charges apply). Our friendly and helpful staff are always willing to help with any questions that you may have.

During and after your stay, you will also have at your disposal a WhatsApp number that you can use to contact us.
Our service hours are from Monday to Sunday from 08:00h. to 22:00h (Spanish time). At check-in we will also provide you with a 24-hour emergency telephone contact for any emergency or situation that occurs outside of these hours and needs a member of staff onsite.
3. Apartments’ equipment
In general, you will have all the necessary equipment for temporary accommodation, including a fully equipped kitchen. We also provide many basic amenities for the apartments, both for the bathroom and the kitchen. Please see our amenities section for each apartment building on the website.
4. Check-in and check-out times
Our check-in time starts at 3:00 p.m. If you are scheduled to arrive before this time, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to have it ready as soon as possible. For any after-hours check-ins (later than 10:00 p.m.) you must contact us in advance at email@example.com, so that we can inform you of the late check-in procedures to follow, so that you can get into your apartment.
Check-out time ends at 11: 00h. If you would like to leave later than 11:00h, please ask at reception about our late check out rates. The late check out is always subject to availability, and can be arranged by coming to the reception on the day of check-out to enquire as to the possibility. Should it be necessary, we can safely and securely store your luggage within reception, if a late check-out is not possible for your day of departure.
The reception of Sensation Apartments Sagrada Familia is located within the building itself, at 380 Calle Rosselló (Rosselló Street) (opening hours 08:00h – 22:00h, every day). The reception of Sensation Apartments Authentic Gracia is located 50 meters from the apartment building, at 412 Calle Sardenya (opening hours 09:00h – 18:00h, Monday to Friday). If your arrival time at Sensation Apartments Authentic Gracia falls outside of these hours, but within the opening hours of the reception at Sensation Apartments Sagrada Familia, the check-in will take place there. A taxi will then be organized and paid for by Sensation Apartments to take you and your luggage up the apartments at Sensation Authentic Gracia. All arrivals scheduled for after 22h must be organized by contacting us in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
5. Rules of conduct
It is mandatory that your behaviour and general conduct is in accordance with the rules laid out in the contract signed at the check-in. All the apartments have balconies or terraces. These are to be used with consideration of other guests and also neighbours, especially during nighttime hours (21h – 08h), and under no circumstances it is allowed to listen to music with speakers or hold loud conversations that could annoy other people. During the check-in, you will be reminded of all these aspects, as well as those related to the use of communal spaces.
Should any breakages or damage occur in the apartments, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to resolve the situation. Once reviewed, we will indicate if you must pay an additional cost.
Parties are not allowed in the apartments, especially outside daylight hours (8am to 9pm).
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments. Should you wish to smoke, you can do so on your terrace or on the terraces on the 6th floor, using the ashtrays provided.
Pets are not allowed.
There is a daily rubbish collection service, about which you will be informed of during check-in. Organic waste must be removed every day for both your and our comfort. Regarding any other rubbish, you can request that we collect it during the aforementioned service, as we strongly recommend that it is not left to accumulate inside the apartments.
Ignoring or not respecting the rules of coexistence will incur sanctions or, in very serious cases, could result in eviction from the apartment. Should this occur, the guest will be without rights to a refund or compensation from Sensation Apartments.
The accommodation in our apartments is commercial. The contract that binds us to our clients implies the acceptance of these basic rules and the jurisdiction and competence of the courts of our city
6. Personal data treatment
In compliance with article 5, section 1.a) of the Organic Law 15/1999 on Protection of Personal Data, we inform the client that the personal data provided will be incorporated into a file duly registered in the Registry established to that end by the Data Protection Agency, and will serve for the effective provision of contracted services. Only employees and some suppliers who need to know such data in order to provide these services will have access to them. In any case, the customer may exercise the rights of access, opposition, rectification and cancellation provided in the aforementioned Law.
7. Security/guarantee deposit
At check-in time, a security deposit of €300 will be blocked upon a provided debit/credit card. Once the check-out is done, and provided that the apartment has been left in good conditions, the deposit will be unblocked. Please note that the refund usually takes up to 7 working days to appear in your account.
8. Cleaning conditions of our apartments
We clean the apartment before your arrival and after your departure. The apartment must be left in a good state of cleanliness, in accordance with proper and considerate use. In case of neglect and lack of care, extra cleaning costs may be applied. If the stay is equal to or superior to 5 nights, we will include complimentary cleanings of the apartment during your stay. You will be informed of this during the check-in process. You can also request additional cleanings and changes of bed linen by speaking to reception in advance (subject to extra cost and additional cleanings are also subject to availability).
9. Are there any additional charges?
We remind you that there is a city tax applicable to tourist accommodation. This rate in Barcelona is €2.48 per person (for those over 16 years) and per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights. There are no extra costs other than those related to the extra services or purchases that you may make in the establishment about which you will be informed of by our friendly and helpful staff.
10. Do children pay?
Children up to 3 years old do not pay an accommodation fee. Any children who are 3 years old or older are considered guests and are charged for accordingly. We also have cots and high chairs, as well as hygiene products for small children at no extra cost. Please let us know in advance of your arrival if this is something that you would like to have organized for your apartment.
11. Can we pay in a currency other than the euro?
You can pay the amount in the currency of your preference. The price is set in Euros, but if you choose any other currency, the official exchange rate of the day for that currency will be applied, if the payment is made by credit card. Cash payments can only be made in Euros.
12. Will I need any plug adapters?
All our apartments have European plugs. We recommend bringing your own adapter. If you do not have your own, you can ask for one in reception (subject to availability).
13. Is there a private parking?
We have private parking in the Sensation Sagrada Familia building. We recommend notifying us in advance if you would like to take advantage of this service, however places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. The parking rate is €22/day, but there are promotional rates applied to longer stays.
14. How to get to the apartments from the airport?
There are different means of transport that can be used for the transfer from the airport. Get in contact us and we will inform you of the best option for your situation and help you prepare for your trip.
15. What public transport can I find close to the apartments?
Just 150 meters from Sensation Sagrada Familia you will find the metro station (suburban train) of Sagrada Familia, Line 5 (blue) and Line 2 (violet), from where you can connect to any point of the city. In the building Sensation Authentic Gracia, you also have several options to move around the city, metro lines at a distance of about 500 m. (line 4- yellow- and line 5 -blue-). In the immediate vicinity of both buildings you will find many bus routes as well as stops for the Barcelona tourist bus, taxi stops and bicycle rental offices (please speak to our reception staff for more information)
16. Where can I find or leave comments about these accommodations?
We greatly appreciate the comments of our customers as they help us to continue improving for the future. After your stay you will receive an e-mail, asking for your opinion about your recent stay that you can leave on any of our social media accounts or on international websites, such as TripAdvisor.
17. Is Barcelona safe?
Barcelona is a welcoming, multicultural city and the birthplace of great movements such as Modernism. In general it is a very safe city. However, especially in times and areas of a high concentration of visitors, you must take care of your personal belongings at all times, to avoid theft by carelessness. This is advice that we extend to all travelers in any city, not just Barcelona.
1. Included charges
The price of accommodation, indirect taxes (VAT) and the final cleaning of the apartment are included in the shown price. It does not include the amount related to tourist accommodation taxes, nor the possible additional services that the guest may contract during their stay.
2. Terms of contract and cancellation policy
The amount corresponding to the first night of the contracted stay will be charged at the time of booking. The rest must be paid at the time of check-in.
Cancellations made prior to 7 days before arrival will receive a full refund of the prepayment made.
Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will have a cancellation charge equivalent to the amount corresponding to the first night.
In case of a guest no-show, without prior notice, the reservation will be cancelled, and the prepayment will be kept as a cancellation penalty
100% of the total of the contracted stay will be charged at the time of booking. This amount will not be refundable under any circumstances, as indicated by the name of the rate.

If you make a reservation through any channel other than our own network, contacting us directly or through our own website, you must contact the channel through which you made the reservation for any modification or cancellation.
3. Payment methods accepted
During the reservation process, payments must be made by debit or credit card, VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS, or through the payment options that each channel, where the reservation is made, accepts. We also accept payments via PAYPAL (for these cases, please contact us by phone (+34 935150709) or e-mail: email@example.com.
At your arrival, upon check-in, payments will be accepted in any of the aforementioned systems and also in cash (EURO currency).
If the prepayment is made by bank card, whether it is partial or full prepayment by non-refundable rate, you must present the card used upon arrival. If you do not have it at that time, the prepayment will be canceled by returning the money to the account of the card used and a new payment of the contracted stay must be made. If you expect your card to cease to be operational before the arrival date, or there is no possibility to present it at the time of check-in, please contact us in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
