1. What is Sensation Apartments?
It is a new concept of accommodation, based on the daily rental of exclusive serviced apartments located in buildings designed for this type of accommodation. Our apartments are fully equipped to make you feel at home, living our city like a local, with the help of our staff.
The buildings are located in the Sagrada Familia neighbourhood, in the Eixample district, one of them just a few metres from the Sagrada Familia basilica and the other very close to it and also near the modernist monumental complex of the Hospital de Sant Pau.
In our buildings you will be able to enjoy the most complete equipment and different exclusive services (see description of services on our own page), such as finnish sauna, themed terraces, one with a small swimming pool and solarium area on the roof of the building and others as a chill out space and unbeatable views of the Sagrada Familia basilica; you will also be able to enjoy a complete gym, self-service laundry and private parking in the same building (with additional charge, according to detailed information). In addition, you will be able to ask our staff, on a personal basis, for help with anything you may need, many of which may be available immediately.

3. Is the Reception open 24h?
No. Reception is open every day from 8h to 22h in Calle Rosselló 380. For any problems outside the office hours, there is an emergency number that you can call, it is +34 672 664 672
4. If we arrive after 22h, how can we check in?
You need to contact the reception by WhatsApp (+34 667 588 321) or email (info@sensation-apartments.com) and they will inform you about the procedure. There’s no extra cost for late check-ins organized in advance.
5. What’s the address of the Apartments?
Sensation Sagrada Família is located at Carrer del Rosselló 380.
Sensation Authentic Gracia is located at Travessera de Gracia 343.
The reception for both apartment buildings is located at Calle Rosselló 380, and you need to come here in order to complete the check-in.
6. What is the earliest time to check in?
Check-in is from 15h onwards. If you are arriving earlier, you are more than welcome to leave your luggage with us in the reception, or you can use our luggage transfer partner LUGGit.
7. And check-out?
Checkout has to be completed before 11h. Should you require a late checkout, this can be arranged on the day of departure from 9h onwards in case of availability. Reception will inform you of the prices and possibility.
8. Do you have baby cots?
Yes, we can prepare one for you free of charge. We also have baby baths and highchairs available. Please let us know what you need in advance so we can prepare it in the apartment for you.
9.Is it possible to add an extra bed?
The apartments have a double sofa-bed, but if it is already being used, it is not possible to add any extra bed due to the legal maximum occupancies of the apartments.
10. Can we book an airport transfer with you?
You can book a private transfer with our recommened partner Welcome Pickups. An English-speaking driver will meet you in arrivals and bring you straight to the apartments. Pay in advance and avoid any hidden costs.
11. Can we store our luggage with you the day of the check-in?
Yes, you can store your luggage at the reception free of charge or you can use the services of our partner LUGGit. They collect your luggage from anywhere and can bring it to whichever end destination you need, at a time to suit. Track your luggage in real time through their easy to use app and enjoy your first and last hours in Barcelona luggage free!
12. Is there a city tax that we need to pay?
Yes, all tourist accommodation in Catalonia must collect a City Tax at checkin. In our apartments, it is 4.40€ per person and per night. It only applies to guests aged over 16 and for a maximum of 7 nights.
13. Can I pay in cash at the property?
Yes, we accept payments made in cash. We cannot accept foreign currency and all cash payments must be made in euros.
14. Do I need to leave a security deposit on arrival?
Yes, at the check-in we will block a security deposit on a credit card. This will either be 300€ or 600€ depending on the apartment type. It is unblocked within 24-48h after the checkout.
15. Can I pay the deposit in cash?
Cash deposits are not accepted.
16. Do you have parking?
We have a parking service for all our clients, but it is located at Carrer Rosselló 380. Reservations aren’t accepted, and it is subject to availability upon arrival. The price is 22€/night.
17. And if I’m staying in Sensation Authentic Gràcia?
You can also use our car park at Carrer Rosselló 380, but if you prefer, there is a secure parking just 100 m away called MX Aparcaments.
18. Is there a washing machine in the apartment?
Some of the larger apartments in Sensation Sagrada Familia, have laundry facilities inside, and there is also a 24h free of charge laundry on the 5th floor.
All of the apartments in Sensation Authentic Gracia have their own washing machine.
19. What kind of coffee machine do you have in the apartments?
All our apartments are provided with a Nespresso coffee machine. Should you need to buy coffee, we sell Nespresso capsules at the Reception. A pack of 10u costs 5€
20. Are there any kitchen products in the apartment?
Yes, you will find the following inside the apartment: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, dishwasher liquid and tablets, paper towels and tea towels.

22. Will the plunge pool be open when I’m there?
The plunge pool is open year-round on the roof terrace, from 09h – 22h. It is not heated.
23. Do you have an electric car charge point?
We do not currently have an electric charge point available in the parking.
24. How do I modify or cancel my reservation?
If you made the reservation through the website, you can edit your reservation using the “My Reservation” tab in the top right corner.
If you reserved through a third party, please contact them directly as we will not be able to modify your reservation for you.
If you reserved directly with us via email or telephone, please contact us directly.
25. Is there breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the reservation. The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, and we would also be more than happy to recommend local bakeries and cafés that are very close by.
26. Is there a bar or restaurant on the terrace?
No, there is not a bar or restaurant on the terrace. Guests are permitted to bring their own food and drink but are reminded to tidy away afterwards and there can be no glass near the plunge pool.
27. Are sheets and towels included?
Yes, the apartments are prepared with the correct amount of bed linen and towels according to the number of people listed in the reservation.
28. Can I use the gym and sauna?
The gym and sauna are available for guests in Sensation Sagrada Familia. They are for guests over the age of 16, and need to be reserved in advance with the reception. Your apartment will have private use of the facilities during the reserved hour.
29. Is there daily cleaning of my apartment?
For stays of 5 nights or longer in Sensation Sagrada Familia and stays of 7 nights or longer in Sensation Authentic Gracia, complimentary cleanings are included.
30. Can I pay for additional cleanings of my apartment?
Yes. Please consult with the reception for rates and availability.
31. Can I make reservations for restaurants, experiences and taxis?
Please speak with us in the reception, and we’d be more than happy to help you with anything that you need to organize. We can also print tickets for you should you need.
32. Do children pay?
Children aged 3 years and under are free of charge.
33. Will you need a plug adapter?
Our apartments are equipped with European plugs. We recommend that you bring your own adapter, but if you need one, you can borrow it at Reception.
34. What public transport is available near the apartments?
Just 150 metres from our Sensation Sagrada Familia you will find the Sagrada Familia metro station (suburban train), line 5 (blue) and connected line 2 (violet), from where you can connect to any point in the city. In the Sensation Authentic Gracia building you also have several options to move around the city, metro lines at a distance of about 500 m. (line 4-yellow and line 5-blue). There are several city bus lines and tourist buses in the surrounding area, as well as taxi and bicycle services (ask at our Reception).
35. Is Barcelona safe?
Barcelona is a welcoming and multicultural city. In general it is a very safe city, especially during the busiest times of the year, however, you should take care of your belongings at all times to avoid careless theft, advice that we extend to all travellers and to all places, not just Barcelona.
